From 4 to 6 year olds

In keeping with our “Arabian Nights” theme this summer, this fantastic and fanciful musical is a perfect introduction to theatre for younger students. Including the colorful and funny Aladdin and Ali Baba stories, our veteran artist-teachers will nurture your child’s inner performing artist and encourage them to shine in a fully staged and costumed musical on the “big” stage. Directed by Sally Szabo-Lombardo, Musical Direction by Cheryl Kemeny, and Costumed by Alexandrea Kemeny.

Join Crystal Theatre for an exciting summer camp production of Disney’s classic Aladdin Kids! In Agrabah, Princess Jasmine defies marriage laws while Jafar seeks the magic lamp. Aladdin, tricked into retrieving the lamp, frees the Genie and becomes Prince Ali to win Jasmine’s heart. Jafar steals the lamp, becomes Sultan, and is ultimately defeated, allowing Aladdin and Jasmine to be together. Perfect for young actors, this production will develop your acting skills and comic talent, stretch your vocal range, and increase your dancing prowess. Taught by veteran artist-teachers, this camp also includes a multi-arts dimension with watercolor classes daily. All levels welcome! Join Crystal Theatre for an exciting summer camp production of Disney’s classic Aladdin, Jr.! Aladdin, a street-smart orphan, encounters Princess Jasmine, who is also seeking freedom from her privileged life. Jafar, the Sultan’s advisor, manipulates Aladdin into finding a magic lamp, hoping to use its power to become Sultan. Aladdin, with the help of the Genie, disguises himself as Prince Ali to win Jasmine’s heart, leading to a series of adventures and betrayals. Directed by Margaret Jackins, Musical Direction by Cheryl Kemeny, Choreographed by Gillian Eckert, this production will not only develop your acting skills and comic talent but will stretch your vocal range and increase your dancing prowess. All levels welcome!

Broadway Blast is back again after a year’s hiatus! Focusing on solo and group singing for all, your child will finish camp with an audition length solo appropriate for their voice and age which they will have performed in front of an audience. In keeping with our “Arabian Nights” summer theme, we will perform a Disney “Aladdin” Medley as well as a medley from the hit movie Wicked. This camp is a perennial favorite with students as everyone gets a solo! All levels are welcome! Direction & Musical Direction by Cheryl Kemeny, Choreography by Gillian Eckert with special surprise guest vocal coaches.
